cimdi enjoys the status of being the first Adobe Certified Training Provider (ACTP) in Canada and the only one offering a full range of Adobe software training since 1996. Our top of the line instructors are Certified Technical Trainers and Adobe Certified Experts (ACE) as required by the ACTP program. Only Adobe Solutions Network, Adobe Certified Training Providers can display the Adobe Certified Training Provider logo on their web site or in training information brochures.

Canada’s Premier Macromedia Specialists

cimdi is a long standing and Premier member of the Macromedia Authorized Training Program, (MATP), since 1996. All cimdi instructors are Macromedia Certified Instructors (MCI) in the software they teach. Only Macromedia Authorized Training Program members can display the Macromedia Authorized Training Program logo on their web site or in training information brochures. cimdi has on staff a total of 10 Certified Macromedia Developers on staff who also do the training in our classrooms.

cimdi is also an Apple Authorized Training Centre - 1998 cimdi provides training in Apple video products - Final Cut Pro and DVD Studio Pro.

Class Sizes

Class size is one of the key factors that influence the success of your training program. At cimdi we keep our class sizes for our public and open enrolment classes at 8 and for some applications as few as 6 class participants. By limiting our class size we believe that we are providing you with the best quality training. Many of our competitors teach 10, 12 or more students which although satisfying a financial imperative, does not provide for quality training in the applications we teach.

Instructor Certification

This is a key ingredient in your success with your own training program. Instructors have to be not only capable of manipulating software, but they need also to be able to communicate their knowledge to the student. cimdi instructors go through a certification process which prepares them to train adults in an adult learning environment

Certified Technical Trainers

Our trainers must demonstrate a thorough knowledge and ability to train adults in technical and software subjects. Each trainer must pass an intensive written exam on training techniques and concepts based on the Instructor competencies manual of the International Board of Standards for Training, Performance, and Instruction. A panel of judges evaluates each trainers ability to teach while watching them in a classroom setting. If candidates successfully complete both parts of the certification process, they become Certified Technical Trainers (CTT).
