cimdi is always seeking experienced, qualified experts in the products
we teach, for our locations in Toronto and Ottawa. cimdi enjoys the
status of being the first Adobe Certified Training Provider in Canada
as well as one of the few Macromedia Authorized Training Providers. We
are also an Apple Solutions Experts - Trainer. We are one of very few
training Centres in North America offering certified training in all Macromedia
and Adobe software. cimdi has locations in both Toronto and Ottawa and
will soon be expanding into other areas.

Toronto Positions Available:
Position: (Two) Inside Sales Associates
cimdi - Digital Media and Internet Training has recently expanded its
sphere of operations to include software sales along with its ongoing
support and training initiatives. We currently require two candidates
with outgoing and dynamic personalities capable of representing cimdi
as well as developing and expanding upon current sales and marketing strategies.
You will work directly with the Vice President of Marketing and Sales.
Knowledge of Macromedia, Adobe and Apple software required.
The focus of these positions is to work with cimdi established client
base and to extend the client base to offer continued product renewal
and ongoing training and support in the use of Macromedia, Adobe and Apple
Software. Primary Activities will include follow up on customer leads,
selling software and marketing our instructor led class-room training,
organizing our series of education and products sales seminars, and maintaining
our customer database. You will also be responsible for working with the
telephone to sell products, education and ongoing support and work with
the cimdi registrar to coordinate classroom and onsite training and support
for existing and new clients.
These positions will be offered in Toronto and Ottawa. A university degree
with a marketing major or equivalent is required. You are team oriented.
Three to five years experience in the marketing and sales field will complement
your verbal, telephone and written communication skills.

Instructor Positions
Specific Requirements for all Instructor Positions:
Demonstrated teaching or instructional capability in an adult instructional
environment
Good with people in an adult instructional environment
Able to generate enthusiasm for products taught
Ability to learn new applications quickly and keep current in existing
knowledge areas
Ability to teach 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily in a professional setting
Core office hours are 8:00 to 5:30 with additional hours as required by
the Manager
Carry out set up classrooms and equipment/software for teaching at direction
of the Manager
Carry out marketing activities at the direction of the Manager such as
special presentations or evening seminars.
Ability to generate own courseware and curriculum materials
Adaptability and self starter
Ability to generate business by being able to integrate other applications
into teaching
Carry our business development as part of day to day activities i.e. answer
phone questions about software etc.
Other duties as set out by the Manager
Position: Macromedia/Adobe Web Instructor
Qualifications:
Candidate should have an expert level knowledge of Macromedia Dreamweaver
MX, Macromedia Flash MX , Fireworks MX and Adobe GoLive 6. ImageReady
7/LiveMotion 2. Ability to hand code HTML , JavaScript and XML are assets.
Candidates should hold Macromedia Developer Certificate and Adobe Certified
Expert Certificate where necessary.
Candidate must be comfortable on both the Mac & PC operating systems
Position: Adobe Business/Page Layout Applications Instructor
Qualifications:
Candidate should have an expert knowledge of Adobe FrameMaker 7.0, Adobe
Acrobat 5.0 and Adobe PageMaker 7.0. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite98/2000/XP
Adobe Illustrator 10.0 and Adobe Photoshop 7.0 are assets. Candidates
should hold Adobe Certified Expert Certificate where necessary.
Candidate must be comfortable on both the Mac & PC operating systems.
Position: Instructor for Print & Web graphics/design
Qualifications:
Candidate should have an expert level knowledge of Adobe Illustrator 10.0,
Adobe Photoshop 7.0, In-Design 2.0 , PageMaker 7.0, and Acrobat 5.0 Adobe
Acrobat 5.0 would be an asset. Candidates should hold Adobe Certified
Expert Certificate where necessary.
Candidate must be comfortable on both the Mac & PC operating systems.
Position: Web Instructor/Programmer
Qualifications:
Candidate should have an expert level knowledge of Active Server Pages,
ColdFusion MX, Flash MX Action Script, JavaScript, XML, Dreamweaver MX
and SQL. Candidates should hold Macromedia Developer Certificates where
necessary.
Candidate must be comfortable on both the Mac & PC operating systems.
For all Positions
Hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with additional hours as required for specific
onsite, offsite marketing events.
